Hey friends! Hope you all are doing great. Today I am really excited to talk about a car that has been creating a lot of buzz lately — the Maruti Suzuki Victoris. You might have seen it on the road or in news and thought, “What’s so special about this one?” Well, let me tell you, this SUV is quite different from what we’ve seen before from Maruti. It’s stylish, comfortable, and packed with features that really make life easier for daily drivers like us.
A Perfect Balance of Style and Simplicity
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is a mid-size SUV that fits perfectly between the Brezza and the Grand Vitara. It’s neither too big nor too small — just the right size for an average Indian family. The design of this car gives a modern yet simple vibe. The front grille has a bold chrome finish, and the sleek LED headlamps make it look classy. At the back, you’ll notice connected LED tail lights that give it a sporty look.
So brother, let’s know something more interesting — this SUV comes in many beautiful colour options like Pearl Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Lucent Orange, Splendid Silver, Celestial Blue, and Magma Red. Each colour has its own charm, but personally, I really liked the Celestial Blue because it looks elegant and clean.
The car’s overall design is smart — not overdone. Even if you take it to a wedding or just to the grocery store, it feels right in every place.
Interior and Comfort
The inside of the Victoris is something you’ll fall in love with the moment you step in. The cabin feels premium yet homely. The dashboard has a nice dual-tone finish, and the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system is smooth to use. You also get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so you can connect your phone easily.

Do you know it’s very special and unique? The Victoris comes with a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and even a panoramic sunroof — things that we usually expect only in expensive SUVs.
The seats are soft and comfortable. Even on long drives, you won’t feel tired. My uncle recently took a 300 km trip in his Victoris, and he said the car handled the journey beautifully — smooth, steady, and very comfortable. The rear seats also have good space, and the boot is big enough to carry luggage for a family trip.
Engine and Performance
Now let’s talk about the heart of the car — its engine. The Maruti Suzuki Victoris comes with three engine options. There’s a 1.5-litre Smart Hybrid Petrol engine, a CNG option, and a Strong Hybrid version. The petrol engine gives good power and amazing mileage. The CNG version is perfect if you want to save money on fuel.
So friend, let’s know something more interesting fact — the Strong Hybrid version can actually run on electric power at low speeds! Isn’t that amazing? It automatically switches between petrol and electric as needed. This makes it not only fuel-efficient but also very smooth to drive.
The manual and automatic (CVT) options make it suitable for everyone. I tried the automatic version, and trust me, in city traffic, it feels like a blessing. The gear shifts are smooth, and you don’t get tired even in heavy traffic.

Mileage and Fuel Efficiency
Mileage is the first thing we Indians check before buying any car, right? And here, Maruti never disappoints.
The Victoris Smart Hybrid Petrol gives around 19–21 km/l, the CNG version offers 26–28 km/kg, and the Strong Hybrid version gives an impressive 27–30 km/l.
Do you know what that means? It’s one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its category. So if you drive daily, this SUV can actually save you a lot of money in the long run.
Safety and Features
Safety-wise, Maruti Suzuki has really stepped up with the Victoris. The car has 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, and Hill Hold Assist. You also get a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).
These safety systems are really helpful, especially ADAS, which includes lane assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking. Once you experience it, you’ll feel the difference — it really makes driving safer and easier.

Real Life Experience
A small real-life example — one of my friends, Ravi, bought the Victoris a few months back. He drives around 50 km daily from his office to home. He told me that earlier he was spending around ₹400 daily on petrol with his old car. Now, with the Victoris hybrid, he spends around ₹250. That’s a big saving every month! Plus, he said he feels more confident driving this car because of the smooth brakes and clear visibility.
So brother, let’s know something more — when I sat in his car for the first time, I noticed how quiet it was inside. Even with traffic noise outside, the cabin felt peaceful. That’s what I really liked — a calm and pleasant drive.
Price and Value
Now coming to the most important part — the price. In our town, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris starts at around ₹11.5 lakh for the base Sigma variant and goes up to around ₹18 lakh for the top Alpha+ Hybrid variant (on-road price). The CNG model comes around ₹13.5 lakh.
Considering the features, space, mileage, and comfort, I personally feel the price is quite reasonable. You get the premium feel of an SUV without spending 20–25 lakh rupees like some other brands.
Pros and Cons (Real Opinion)
From my point of view, the biggest pros of the Victoris are its mileage, comfort, premium looks, and Maruti’s trusted service network. You’ll easily find service centers anywhere in India, which gives peace of mind. The only cons I felt were — the top variant feels a bit costly and there’s no diesel option. But honestly, with hybrid and CNG, I don’t think you’ll really miss diesel.
Final Thoughts
If you’re planning to buy a new car that’s stylish, practical, and fuel-efficient, then the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is a great option. It’s a perfect family SUV with the right balance of design, comfort, and technology.
Do you know it’s very special? Because it’s not just a car — it’s a combination of Maruti’s reliability and modern innovation. You can use it for office commutes, long drives, or even weekend family trips — it fits every purpose.
